League One round-up

Swansea go top as Lee Trundle and a brace from Andy Robinson sink MK Dons.

Swansea moved to the top of Coca Cola League One after a resounding 3-1 win at Milton Keynes Dons.

Lee Trundle set City on their way after 15 minutes, rounding off a nice move after Roberto Martinez found the striker inside the box.

Pablo Mills soon got the home side back on level terms, but the Welshmen were not to be denied as they came out firing in the second half.

Andy Robinson was the hero for the visitors as he notched a brace in five second half minutes.

First, Robinson stroked home from six yards and then, with the Dons still reeling, he strolled forward to angle a drive past the goalkeeper from 18 yards.

In the other game of the day in League One, Barnsley made light work of their away trip to Gillingham.

Three great strikes gave the visitors victory, and sunk Gillingham to 18th in the division.

Chris Shuker got Barnsley's first, firing the ball in from the edge of the area as Barnsley broke quickly.

Paul Hayes then doubled the lead in the second half with a delightful lob from 20 yards.

And then, with time ticking down, Daniel Nardiello rounded off a fine display with a glorious 20-yard strike.
