Hull ace Nick Barmby has pledged to stay at The KC Stadium.
Hull ace Nick Barmby has pledged to stay at The KC Stadium despite his lack of first-team action this season.
The former Liverpool and Everton man has struggled to establish himself in Phil Parkinson's plans this season making just three starts so far this campaign.
Reports suggested Barnsley were interested in Barmby, but the former England international has played down the rumours by saying he is happy to stay at Hull.
"It's nice that clubs still show an interest in you, I'm not so sure on the Barnsley rumour though," Barmby told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I know Andy Ritchie well. He's a great guy and a very good manager who encourages good football. You hear certain things about transfers but I'm concentrating everything on trying to play for Hull City.
"My main priority is still to play for Hull City and, after taking such a long time to play for the club, I want to play as many games as I can.
"My ambition is still burning inside me so that hasn't wavered. All I can do is keep working hard."
