Barnsley were able to beat the deadline to sign Leon Knight from Swansea.
Barnsley were able to beat the deadline to sign Leon Knight from Swansea, while Kristian O'Leary also moved on from the Welsh club to sign for Cheltenham for the next month.
Knight has not featured for Swansea for over a month and he is looking forward to getting his career back on track during his loan spell at Oakwell.
"I am excited about the move," Knight told Barnsley's website. "I have played up north a couple of times in my career and things have worked out well so hopefully I can get some goals for Barnsley."
O'Leary has moved on to Cheltenham, with the long-serving midfielder admitting he agonised before finally putting pen-to-paper.
"It was a very difficult decision for me,'' explained O'Leary. "It's going to be strange playing somewhere else after 11 years as a senior pro with Swansea. It's all I've known."
O'Leary feels he still has a future at Swansea.
"My heart is and always will be at Swansea, especially as the fans have always been brilliant with me," he added.
"It's still my intension to wear the Swans shirt again with pride. Once I've got a few first team games under my belt at Cheltenham I aim to return and force my way back into the side on a regular basis.''
