Barnsley duo Martin Devaney and Bobby Hassell have signed contracts to stay at Oakwell until 2009.
Both players are key figures in Simon Davey's plans as the manager looks to keep The Tykes in the Championship.
Devaney (pictured) joined the club following a short spell at Watford in 2005 and has made 89 appearances for the South Yorkshire side.
Hassell was a free transfer arrival from Mansfield Town in 2004 and he has gone on to feature 120 times for Barnsley.
Winger Devaney is set to start against Crystal Palace on Saturday, although defender Hassell is still serving a suspension after his recent red card against Birmingham City.
Meanwhile, youngsters Robert Atkinson and Rhys Meynell have also signed new contracts at Oakwell.
Atkinson, who has made seven appearances for the first team this season, will stay until 2009, while Meynell, who has yet to make his debut, has signed until 2008.
