Doncaster defender Reece Wabara will stay with the club until the end of the season after signing a new six-month contract.

The 23-year-old has made 27 appearances for Doncaster since joining on an initial six-month deal in August following his release from Manchester City. "Reece has been great for us so far and we are all delighted that he will be here until the end of the season," manager Paul Dickov told the club's official website. "We have gathered some momentum now and after three consecutive clean sheets we need to keep pushing on. We are glad Reece will be part of that." Wabara, who progressed through Manchester City's academy, is in his second spell at the Keepmoat Stadium. He joined the club on loan from City in the summer of 2013 and made 15 appearances. The full-back has previously worked under Dickov at Oldham, where he spent four months on loan during the 2012/13 season.
