Eifion Williams opened the scoring on 26 minutes but Scott Canham equalised on 69 minutes for Orient.
However, Williams restored the Teessiders' lead two minutes later to take the spoils.

Swansea prop up the rest of Division Three with just three wins all season.
York came out on top 1-0 over Rochdale courtesy of a Peter Duffield strike on 71 minutes.

However, the Quakers struck back with Barry Conlon 63 and Clark Keltie (82) stealing a point.
Bournemouth moved into third with a Garreth O'Connor penalty (71) securing a vital away win at Southend.
Two goals in three minutes helped Bury to defeat Carlisle 2-1.
Peter Murphy put The Cumbrians ahead on the hour mark but player/manager Andy Preece levelled on 73 minutes and Lee Unsworth snatched the winner 120 seconds later.
Bristol Rovers' poor run of form did not come to an end as Wrexham ran out convincing 3-0 victors.
Andrew Morrell grabbed a brace (18, 43) and Lee Trundle rubbed salt in the wound with a 75th minute effort.
