The Dutch keeper is currently on a one-month loan from The Withdean Stadium, and was signed by Tigers boss Peter Taylor as cover for the injured Alan Fettis.
Kuipers made a good start in his debut at Doncaster and is due to keep his place ahead of Paul Musselwhite for the visit of Southend on Saturday.
Taylor is a keen admirer of Kuipers from his time in charge of The Seagulls, and could well try and make the deal a permanent one.
Kuipers was due to return to Brighton once Fettis gets back to fitness but he admitted that he would be interested in extending his stay at the KC Stadium.
"At the moment, I'm just trying to help the gaffer and the rest of the team. It's not really for me to say but of course I would be interested in coming here," said Kuipers.
"I am enjoying it and there's a very good atmosphere in the dressing room. The boys are all in it together. It was a big thing at Brighton when we won two championships and it's the same here.
"However, I don't know what will happen in the longer term. I haven't spoken to Brighton. We'll just have to wait and see."
