The Hull-born Barmby has been frozen out at Elland Road this season, having made just two appearances so far for The Whites.
The former Tottenham Hotspur, Middlesbrough, Everton and Liverpool player has been a regular visitor to The Kingston Communications Stadium this term - fuelling speculation that he may be poised to join The Tigers.
However, Pearson has ruled out any chance that Barmby will be joining the Division Three club.
"I had a chat with Nick about it and it's not in his plans," Pearson told local radio.
"He's got two-and-a-half years left of a fantastic contract at Leeds and he's not going to walk away from that.
"He's only 29 and probably sees himself playing at the highest level for a number of years yet.
"His contract is way out of what this club can afford."
Meanwhile, Bury's bid to sign Hull City's John Anderson on loan has been scrapped after the defender suffered a training ground injury this week.
