Posh's Player of the Season has been in inspired form for the London Road club since joining the Second Division side from Birmingham City, scoring seven goals to help the side secure safety in Division Two for next season.
Fry has confirmed that he has rejected an offer from Tigers boss Peter Taylor for Woodhouse earlier this week, with the player still under contract to Peterborough until June 2006.
Meanwhile, Fry is hoping to land on-loan defender Guy Branston on a permanent deal this summer.
The 25-year-old played 14 matches for The Posh after coming on loan from First Division side Rotherham United back in February.
Fry hopes to land Branston and sign fellow defender Tom Williams to a new contract as well.
"Guy Branston's loan spell has ended but we are pretty confident of doing a deal in the coming weeks," Fry added.
"I have spoken with Guy and his agent and we will see what happens.
"Tom Williams has finished his short-term deal, we made him a new offer, he is thinking about it, but I don't think the money will be enough."
Peterborough's search for new players continued during the week when reserve team boss John Morling ran the rule over 20 youngsters in a trial match.
All the players were released from Premiership clubs and are looking for pastures ahead of the new campaign.
