Hull City moved to within two points of Luton Town with a 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers.Hull City have moved to within two points of League One leaders Luton Town with a late 2-1 win over Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers.
Stuart Elliott's fine winner with four minutes remaining gave The Tigers all three points at The Kingston Communications Stadium after Donny's David Mulligan had cancelled out Danny Allsopp's opener before the break.
Peter Taylor's side took the lead mid-way through the opening half when Allsopp ran on to a through ball before slotting his shot past Doncaster goalkeeper Andy Warrington.
The visitors went into the break on level terms when New Zealand international Mulligan struck a sublime right footed free kick over the Hull wall and past keeper Boaz Myhill.
The second half became a heated affair and both sides finished the contest with ten men when Hull's Nicky Barmby and Doncaster's Jermaine McSporran were sent off for a late altercation.
With time running out, the home side took the points when Elliott (pictured) made a fine run from deep before shooting past Warrington to give the Humberside club a big win.
