Hull manager Peter Taylor has backed Boaz Myhill to claim England honours.
Hull manager Peter Taylor has backed Boaz Myhill to claim England honours should the goalkeeper maintain his impressive from.
Myhill has been sounded out by Wales, however the California-born 22-year-old is hoping to make it with England, a decision that has received the support of Taylor.
"I haven't spoken to Bo about the Wales situation but he's always wanted to give himself a chance with England," Taylor told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I think he's got a chance if he keeps playing the way he's playing - he's been outstanding.
"He can still tighten up his game all round. It's not just about shot-stopping, it's about dealing with through balls and coming for crosses but he's very, very capable.
"Bo's a very sensible boy. He wants to keep playing football and I know he'll keep working at his game.
"I've no doubt that, with his age and his attitude, he will keep improving."
Myhill joined The Tigers from Aston Villa in December 2003 and recently signed a three-year contract extension at The Kingston Communications Stadium.
