Striker leaves Gers for undisclosed fee

Hull City have wrapped up the signing of Rangers striker Daniel Cousin for an undisclosed fee. Cousin only joined the Gers from Lens 12 months ago, but has been repeatedly tipped to leave Ibrox. Only Fifa red tape prevented the Gabon international from signing for Fulham in the January transfer window. He admitted over the summer that he remained keen on a move to the Premier League after appearing to fall out of favour at Ibrox. However, he earned a surprise recall for Sunday's Old Firm derby with Celtic, during which he scored in the 4-2 win. Though Cousin was also sent off at Parkhead, his impressive display did not damage his prospects of joining Hull. Rangers have confirmed that the forward has now completed a permanent switch to the KC Stadium ahead of the transfer deadline.
