French star set for summer switch

French side Boulogne say they have agreed a deal with Hull City for highly-rated defender Steven Mouyokolo. The highly-rated stopper was being tracked by a host of clubs but Hull have now moved to secure Mouyokolo. The Tigers have agreed to pay €2million (£1.8million) for the 22-year-old. However, Mouyokolo will stay on loan at second division Boulogne until 1st July - when he will then seal his move across the channel. "There is a time when we can no longer block the progress of a player," said president Jacques Wattez. "If Hull had not accepted our request, it wouldn't have happened. But we need to consider the future of our club. "Of course we lose a good player, but his departure will enhance us. "We could have waited until the end of the season, but sport is not immune from injury, in this case there would then have been no transfer." The Tigers have yet to comment on the deal.
