Eldin Jakupovic has revealed that he is in contact with Tottenham over a proposed move to England.
The Switzerland international keeper is currently on loan at Grasshoppers in his homeland, but is contracted to Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow.
Grasshoppers are keen to keep him in Zurich for as long as possible, but are unlikely to be able to compete against Premier League opposition.
A deal to take the 24-year-old to White Hart Lane is far from a certainty, though, with discussions so far believed to have been very informal.
Jakupovic has made it clear that he would be interested in taking the matter further, but will leave all negotiations in the hands of his representatives.
"Yes, it's true, I am in touch with Tottenham Hotspur," he told Basler Zeitung.
"But I only want to talk it about when the deal is fully completed."
