This is a massive test for Paul Heckingbottom! It's quite the move he's made from Barnsley to Leeds for more than one reason and he'll be under the microscope right away at Bramall Lane.
When these two sides met in October they were both right in the mix for automatic promotion, and Sheffield United even went top after they won at Elland Road! But both have drifted away from the play-offs now and will be desperate for a win. It will be a good, open game, and I think it will be a draw.

Now this game has come at a very interesting time! The first Second City derby of the season was a bit of a non-event and both teams appeared happy just to not lose, but it's a little bit different now with Aston Villa going full tilt for automatic promotion.
Birmingham have been on a great run lately to haul themselves away from the drop zone, and there's no doubt that Steve Cotterill would be delighted with a point at Villa Park.

It would be a big ask for Bristol City to force their way back into automatic promotion contention now, especially when you consider the form of some of the clubs above them.
Sunderland, however, provide them with a fantastic opportunity to claim a victory to help keep the pressure up on Derby and Aston Villa. Chris Coleman's team look bereft of confidence and their last two defeats against Birmingham and Ipswich have been utterly dismal. This is a home win for me.

It was important for Derby to get a good win after a couple of goalless draws in the Championship, and they did just that against Brentford last week.
Norwich are going to have to go on a really big run if they want to force their way into contention for the play-offs. They're only eight points off but there are an awful lot of teams between themselves and the top six. A win at Pride Park would be a good place to start, but I can't see it happening. Home win.

It's very much been a case of one step forward and two steps back for Tony Pulis so far at Middlesbrough. Everyone expected him to galvanise the squad and get them up into contention for the play-offs and even automatic promotion, but it hasn't quite happened yet.
Reading, however, are on a dreadful run and present a perfect opportunity for Boro. Jaap Stam is under real pressure and you worry for him if they lose again on Saturday, and I think they'll get edged out.

This is a very big game. Nottingham Forest are nine points clear of the relegation zone as it stands, but it doesn't take a lot in this division to go on a really poor run and suddenly find yourselves right in trouble.
Hull, meanwhile, finally scored last week at Preston but then went on to lose the game, which was a huge blow for them. This one could go either way at the City Ground, so I'm going to back a draw.

Wolves looked a cut above the rest against Sheffield United last week, it's as simple as that. Any fears of a dip have been put to bed with back-to-back wins and they regained some of their swagger against the Blades.
QPR, meanwhile, got a very important win against Barnsley last week and will be brave enough under Ian Holloway to go for it at Molineux, but that could well be their downfall.

Scunthorpe got back to winning ways last weekend and are well on track for another season of finishing in the top six, which would be an excellent achievement for them.
Rotherham are just one spot behind them in the league after an excellent run of form, and this game would be an excellent chance for them to cement their spot in the play-offs. Despite that, I think Scunthorpe will edge this one.

Barnet are heading towards real trouble in League Two now and are looking like they may get cut adrift. They face Notts County on Saturday and there aren't too many tougher games for them in that league.
County's form has dropped off a little of late. They were right up there with Luton a few weeks back but have now dropped back into the melee behind them. They'll be desperate for all three points on Saturday, especially after their FA Cup result in midweek, and I think they'll get them.

What a great season Millwall are having. They snuck promotion through the play-offs last season and it's full credit to Neil Harris and his team that they've never really looked in any kind of risk of relegation.
A trip to The Den is tough for any team, but if any side are up to the task it's Neil Warnock's Cardiff. This won't be one for the purists on Friday night, but it will be a great battle and I can't split the pair of them.
