Carabao Cup: Frank Lampard's Derby drawn at Oldham

Frank Lampard's Derby will visit League Two side Oldham in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

The former England midfielder, who won the League Cup twice during his time at Chelsea, faces a trip to Boundary Park with his new Championship club as he takes his first steps in management.

Having missed out on promotion, Aston Villa will make the long trip to Yeovil, Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds host Bolton, relegated West Brom face Luton at The Hawthorns, Sunderland host Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United have been drawn at home to Hull in a Yorkshire derby.

It was the second successive season the Carabao Cup draws have taken place overseas.

Last season events were staged in Bangkok and Beijing as part of the EFL's continued efforts to build the value of the competition outside the UK.
