Bravo has enjoyed a new lease of life under Terry Venables at Leeds, playing five matches for The Whites, after playing second fiddle to Roberto Carlos at Real.
Saez has named a strong party for their Euro 2004 qualifying matches, with the likes of Raul and Diego Tristan likely to feature up-front for the Spaniards.
Xavi, Ruben Baraja and Juan Carlos Valeron are all contenders for midfield berths, with the latter performing superbly for Deportivo La Coruna against Manchester United on Tuesday.
Madrid's Ivan Helguera is suspended for the clash against Ukraine, but is available for Armenia, whilst Sevilla's Javi Navarri is in the full squad for the first time.
Spain are currently well placed in Group 6, winning their first two matches, and could cement top spot even further with victories over Ukraine and Armenia.
Full Spanish squad:
Casillas (R Madrid), Canizares (Valencia), Cesar (Deportivo), Michel Salgado (R Madrid), I Helguera (R Madrid), Aranzabal (Sociedad), Albelda (Valencia), Marchena (Valencia), Raul Bravo (Leeds), Javi Navarro (Sevilla), Xavi (Barcelona), Valeron (Deportivo), Joaquin (Betis), Baraja (Valencia), Vicente (Valencia), Guti (R Madrid), Etxeberria (A Bilbao), Tristan (Deportivo), Raul (R Madrid).
