Viduka and Morris back for Leeds

Leeds United boss Peter Reid will welcome back both Mark Viduka and Jody Morris to his squad for Saturday's match at Portsmouth after the duo have been disciplined by the club.

Viduka was dumped out of the side to face Arsenal after turning up late for training, and was fined after the 4-1 defeat by The Gunners.

The big Australian now has serious doubts about his Elland Road future hanging over him, and has been linked with several moves away from West Yorkshire.

Reid insists that the matter has now been dealt with and says that there will be no problem with Viduka returning to the side as Reid tries to steer Leeds off the foot of the table.

"I got fined a few times when I was a player and it is something that happens at football clubs," said Reid.

"Things like this happen. Unfortunately it was on a match day and it has been highlighted but it has been dealt with and I am quite happy with the situation now.

"What went on was not particularly helpful to anyone concerned but we just have to get on with it."

The Morris situation has been a bit more serious however, after he was arrested and then bailed by police.

Leeds suspended Morris for two weeks following talks with his solicitors, followed by a voluntary leave of absence for ten days.

Morris has been keeping up with his fitness and he could now be thrust back into the firing line for the trip to Pompey as Leeds desperately try to get away from danger.
