Leeds trial African

Leeds have taken Ivory Coast striker Georges Ba on trial.

Leeds have taken Ivory Coast striker Georges Ba on trial.

The Nice striker will travel to West Yorkshire in a bid to earn a move to Kevin Blackwell's Championship outfit.

The 26-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Ligue 2 side Montpellier, before joining Le Mans in January.

Ba made a big impact at Le Mans as he banged in seven goals in 12 games as the club raced to promotion to Ligue 1.

Ba will now be trying his best to earn a move to England with Leeds looking to see if the powerful hit-man has what it takes.
