Leeds seal double striker deal

Leeds have completed the signings of strikers Tore Andre Flo and Tresor Kandol.

Leeds United have completed the signings of strikers Tore Andre Flo and Tresor Kandol.

Flo links up with former team-mate Dennis Wise at the struggling Elland Road club on a deal until the end of the season.

The former Chelsea and Rangers striker saw his contract with Valerenga expire at the end of the Norwegian season.

A move to England was Flo's preferred option and the likes of Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers were among those to show an interest.

However, the 33-year-old opted to join Leeds, where Wise is now in charge.

Meanwhile, Kandol moves to Leeds for an undisclosed fee from League Two side Barnet.

The 25-year-old joined The Whites in November on an initial loan deal but has now made the switch permanent.

Kandol will sign a three-and-a-half year deal at Leeds.

"We wish to thank Tresor for his services to Barnet, and we wish him the best of luck for the future," Bees chairman Tony Kleanthous told his club's official website.
