Leeds United have been boosted by the news that Casper Ankergren has escaped a ban over his charge of improper conduct.
The Danish shot-stopper pleaded guilty after being charged by The FA for throwing an object, believed to be a cigarette lighter, at Swindon Town supporters last month.
Leeds had feared he could be suspended ruling him out of the team's last two games of the League One campaign.
However, he has only been fined £750 and warned about his future conduct, meaning he is free to face Yeovil on Friday.
"The commission took into consideration his immediate admission of the charge, his apology, and his previous disciplinary record," read a statement on The FA's official website.
"They also took into consideration the provocation of objects being thrown onto the pitch during the second half of the game."
