Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed a deal with Leeds United to sign Bradley Johnson on a three-month loan.
Johnson has struggled for first-team football at Elland Road this season and has been restricted to a solitary appearance in League One.
He is now travelling down to Brighton to finalise the loan move and could be involved in Tuesday's game at home to Leicester City.
Seagulls boss Micky Adams had been looking to strengthen his squad and is happy to have set up a deal for the attacking midfielder.
"We're delighted Bradley has agreed to join us on loan until the New Year," Adams told the club's official website.
"He is a six-foot-plus attacking midfielder who can play either centrally or on the wing and is also capable of scoring a goal.
"With Glenn (Murray) and Nicky (Forster) injured, our priority has always been to bring in a striker, and it remains so - but that does not prohibit us from improving other areas of the team and I am sure Bradley's arrival will improve the squad."
