Under-fire Leeds United manager Gary McAllister has confirmed he has no plans to recall Bradley Johnson from Brighton.
It had been thought McAllister may invoke the 24-hour release clause in Johnson's loan in order to bolster his beleaguered squad that has lost their last three league outings.
Johnson had been a regular under McAllister last season, often finding himself out of position at left-back, but has found himself shipped out to the South Coast after swiftly falling down his pecking order this term.
The 21-year-old has scored five League One goals for Micky Adams' side, including a brace in last Friday's 4-2 home defeat to high-flying MK Dons.
Although Leeds are desperately searching for goals themselves with leading scorer Jermaine Beckford on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, McAllister is not looking to utilise Johnson during the busy festive period.
"I'm not looking at recalling Johnson at the moment," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
