Shakers snap up Whites pair

Bury boss Kevin Blackwell has captured Leeds United duo Zac Thompson and Dominic Poleon on one-month youth loan deals.

The two young professionals link up with former United boss Blackwell, who took charge of the Shakers in September. Poleon, 19, has made five appearances for Leeds' first team this season and scored his first goal for the club in their 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest last month. Thompson, also 19, penned a new three-year deal before the international break but has found his opportunities limited since the start of the new season. Both players will stay at Gigg Lane until November 17 after Whites boss Neil Warnock insisted he was keen to see both players gain some experience and regular football elsewhere. Bury are currently bottom of League One and have yet to record a victory this season.
