Oxford are the third team chasing Hull who all have 26 points after scraped past a competent Yeovil Town side who still look at home at this level, but Steve Basham's goal was enough to give The U's the win.

Southend United dragged themselves away from trouble at the foot of the table by grabbing a last-gasp 2-1 win over Kidderminster Harriers.

Bristol Rovers made the long journey north to face Darlington and came away with a 4-0 win thanks to goals from Lewis Haldene and David Savage, plus an Andy Rammell brace to give The Pirates a happy trip back to The Westcountry.
Huddersfield Town left it late to beat Torquay at The McAlpine Stadium and the goal came from Tony Carss who volleyed in the winner with ten minutes left to play.
Bury grabbed a welcome away win at Cambridge and The Shakers raced into a 2-0 lead after 39 minutes with goals from Lee Connell and Chris Porter, with Andy Duncan's late strike not enough for The U's who went down to a 2-1 defeat.
Martin Smith put Northampton ahead at Rochdale after 51 minutes but Kevin Towson came to the home side's rescue and grabbed a point for the hosts with his 72nd minute effort.
Lincoln City travelled to nearby Scunthorpe and breezed to a 3-1 victory over their Lincolnshire rivals at Glanford Park.
