League Two Round-Up

Swansea capitalised on Yeovil's slip-up to surge to the top of League Two.

Swansea capitalised on Yeovil's slip up at the summit of the League Two table to surge top following a last-gasp win over Mansfield at The Vetch Field.

The Swans looked like they were not going to make the break-through, however, Adrian Forbes' last minute strike gave the home side the points.

Former leaders Yeovil were sent packing 2-1 by Rochdale despite taking the lead at Spotland.

Philip Jevons opened the scoring after the interval, but goals from Grant Holt and a winner from Gary Jones in the last ten minutes gave the home side the points.

Scunthorpe climbed into second spot following a 2-0 win over Wycombe with first half goals from Paul Hayes and Andy Crosby settling the tie.

Dean Gordon's late goal gave Grimsby the points at Northampton with a 1-0 win, while Cheltenham and Chester shared the points in a goalless draw.

Rushden & Diamonds secured their fourth win of the season after Craig Dove's goal on the stroke of half-time sent Shrewsbury crashing to a 1-0 home defeat.

10-man Southend overcame the dismissal of Darryl Flahavan to see off Boston United 2-1.

Goals from Mark Gower and Wayne Gray put the home side in control, however, they were up against it when Flahavan was sent off for deliberate handball.

Andy Kirk pulled one back for The Pilgrims shortly after the interval, but that was as good as it got for the visitors.
