Southend and Wrexham booked their places in the final of the LDV Vans Trophy final.Southend booked their place in the final of the LDV Vans Trophy final 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-2 draw with Bristol Rovers.
Winning 2-1 from the first leg Southend put themselves in control on 30 minutes with Wayne Gray firing them in front.
Bristol Rovers refused to lie down and Richard Walker drew them level a minute before the break.
Freddy Eastwood restored Southend's two-goal cushion on 61 minutes and although Junior Agogo drew Rovers level again on 73 minutes Southend held on to book their place in the final for a second successive year.
Wrexham await Southend in the final after a 1-0 win over Oldham in the second leg of their Northern Section final to progress 6-3 on aggregate.
Oldham faced an uphill battle to get back into the tie when Guy Branston was sent off for violent conduct on the hour mark
Wrexham made their numerical advantage count when Chris Llewellyn hit the only goal of the game on 65 minutes to send the Welsh side through to the final at the Millennium Stadium.
