Posh pair put on list

Peterborough United have put Richard Logan and Matt Nolan on the transfer list.

Peterborough United have put Richard Logan and Matt Nolan on the transfer list.

Posh boss Mark Wright has decided the duo do not figure in his plans for next season, as he looks to take the club back into League One at the first attempt.

Both Logan and Nolan arrived at London Road around the same time but, after nearly two years at the club, the strikers have been told they can move on.

"Matt and Richard have three strikers ahead of them in the pecking order," said Wright.

"It's only fair to the players that I give them the opportunity to find new clubs.

"There has already been a bit of interest in Richard and I am sure he will get fixed up."

Wright has also released youngsters Ahmed Deen and Mark Coulson, but has handed out a number of trials.

He is looking at former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Alan Morgan, who played for Cheltenham Town on loan last season, Andy Duncan of Cambridge, Southend's Lawrie Dudfield and Danny Brown from Oxford.
