Bradford City striker Dean Windass has denied allegations of biting his opponents.Bradford City striker Dean Windass has defended himself against allegations of biting his opponents.
The 36-year-old, who was named League One's Powerade Player of the Month for August, was accused of biting Southend United goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan and Bournemouth's Marcus Browning in separate incidents by the two players.
The Football Association are looking into the two alleged incidents, though Windass insists he has done nothing wrong.
"I'm not worried. I know the allegations are wrong," Windass said.
"I just can't believe people are coming out saying these things.
"I went up to the keeper at Southend and kissed him and he's said I've bit him and Marcus Browning elbowed me in the mouth and he's coming out saying I've bit him too.
"People like to jump on the bandwagon when they hear these sorts of things, it makes no difference to me what they say, I know I never did anything."
Meanwhile, Bradford striker Michael Symes has been forced to put his long-term loan with League Two side Macclesfield Town on hold so he can undergo an operation on a long-standing ankle problem.
