Hunt and Fairclough considering new one-year deals

Notts County boss Ian McParland is 'pretty confident' that Stephen Hunt and Ben Fairclough will sign new contracts. The duo's current deals expire in the summer, but both Hunt and Fairclough have been offered one-year extensions. McParland is waiting for a response from the two players, but is optimistic of a positive reply from defender Hunt and striker Fairclough. "We've made fair offers to both players," McParland told the club's official website. "They've both gone away now to think about the offers we've made, which is naturally what players do. "I'm pretty confident both Stephen and Ben will sign, but as we all know in football it's not done until it's done." Meanwhile, McParland is unsure whether Myles Weston will agree to the new contract offered to the winger.
