Brewers hope for Zola deal

Burton manager Paul Peschisolido has not given up hope of signing Crewe striker Calvin Zola on loan.

Peschisolido has been encouraged to renew his interest in a deal after the 25-year-old, who is out of favour at Gresty Road, rejected a temporary move to League Two rivals Shrewsbury. Zola had previously turned down an offer from Albion, as well as Bradford and Southend, but Peschisolido said: "I will keep trying to get him to Burton. I think Calvin would be a massive asset to our club. "It looked as though Shrewsbury were favourites to sign him, so I wouldn't rule anything out at this stage."
