Shrimps star in bad books

Kevan Hurst admitted he upset some of his family and friends when helping Morecambe to victory over Chesterfield on Saturday.

Goals in each half from ex-Spireites midfielder Hurst and James Spencer secured the Shrimps' first away win since early January. Chesterfield-born Hurst, 25, said: "I'm a Chesterfield lad and it's special to score against my old club - although I didn't want to celebrate it. "A lot of my friends as well as my mum and dad, missus and uncle were all there. My uncle is a big Spireites fan. "We played some of our best football of the season. The lads chased every ball, we hit two good goals and didn't give them an inch."
