Wycombe have confirmed they have rejected a bid for striker Nathan Tyson.Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed they have rejected a bid for striker Nathan Tyson from League One leaders Luton Town.
The former Reading ace has been repeatedly linked with moves away from The Causeway Stadium, forcing The Chairboys to issue a response.
Chairman Ivor Beeks has confirmed Luton made an offer for the 18-goal hit-man earlier this week, but it was well below their valuation of the 22-year-old.
With Wycombe also challenging for promotion to League One, the club were loathe to lose the services of a key player as the season draws to an end.
"Due to the speculation that has mounted the club can confirm that they received an offer from Luton Town for Nathan Tyson," confirmed Beeks to the club's official website.
"As it was nowhere near our valuation the matter is now closed."
