Dean Morgan and Paul Underwood have signed new deals at Luton.
Dean Morgan and Paul Underwood have committed their futures to Luton Town by penning new two-year deals with the Championship strugglers.
Morgan's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the season but the forward will now stay at Kenilworth Road until 2009 after signing on for manager Mike Newell.
The 23-year-old - who joined Luton from Reading in 2005 - had been the subject of interest from Leeds United during the January transfer window and his future in Bedfordshire had looked in some doubt.
However, Morgan is now free to focus on a looming relegation scrap after cementing his future with The Hatters.
Luton have further confirmed that versatile performer Paul Underwood has also committed his future to the club.
The former Rushden and Diamonds man has missed the entire season due to injury but will now be staying with The Hatters until 2009 as well.
Ahmet Brkovic, Steve Robinson, Marlon Beresford and Russell Perrett have all signed new deals at Kenilworth Road in recent weeks, leaving Markus Heikkinen as the only senior player whose future is yet to be resolved.
News of Morgan and Underwood's decisions will come as welcome relief to The Hatters, with the club only just hovering above the relegation zone having lost a number of key players over the course of the season.
