Doncaster Rovers manager Darren Ferguson has been charged by the FA for comments made to the media following the game against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
Ferguson later apologised for his remarks and insisted they were "tongue-in-cheek" and said he does not advocate violence against officials.
The FA have alleged his comments were improper and/or brought the game into disrepute
Ferguson has until Monday January 22 to respond.
