Yeovil boss Gary Johnson has signed two players to his Huish Park squad.Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson has signed two players as cover for early season injuries at Huish Park.
The Glovers boss has brought in the defensive duo of Fulham's Liam Fontaine on loan and Arundel's Paul Jones on non-contract terms at the club.
The Somerset-based outfit have only played two matches in League Two this season - but Gavin Williams, Scott Guyett, Colin Pluck and Roy O'Brien have already been sidelined with problems.
Guyett is out for another three weeks after going under the knife to repair cartilage in his knee.
Fontaine will receive the chance to earn more first team experience with Yeovil while Jones remains on trial at the club, although he will be in the squad for Saturday's match against Boston United.
Johnson was pleased to land to pair before Yeovil face Steve Evans's Pilgrims on the weekend.
"I rang a few friends to see if anybody was available and Fontaine was recommended and after a call to Fulham, they were pleased to help us out," Johnson told the club's official website.
"Paul Jones was in the right place at the right time and will continue a trial with us for a while and be on the bench against Boston - although he has only signed on a non-contract basis."
