Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson will miss the start of the season with a knee injury.Nottingham Forest are resigned to being without striker Nathan Tyson in the early part of the season because of a knee injury.
Tyson is recovering from medial ligament damage - a similar injury to the one he suffered on the opening day of last season which kept him out for three months.
He is continuing his rehabilitation and manager Colin Calderwood accepts he will be missing for some time.
Calderwood said: "Nathan is recovering okay and will see a specialist next week.
"But the reality is it will be a considerable time before we are considering him available for the first team.
"He has got a lot of strength to build up in his leg and he will not start the season."
