Northampton have confirmed that Nottingham Forest are tracking Mark Bunn.
Northampton Town have confirmed that Nottingham Forest are tracking their talented young keeper Mark Bunn.
The Cobblers' League One rivals are understood to be ready to table a bid in the region of £200,000 for the 22-year-old.
But Town chairman David Cardoza insists Bunn, who still has two years left on his current deal at Sixfields, is not for sale.
"I can state quite categorically that Nottingham Forest have not made us an offer for Mark," Cardoza told the Northampton Chronicle.
"They contacted me a couple of weeks ago and made it known that they are interested in the player and I told them how much we would need for him.
"Since then I haven't heard anything else, but £200,000 is way off the mark in terms of what we would want.
"Mark's under contract here and we're delighted to have him at our club because he is a fantastic player and we want to keep him.
"Everyone has their price but Mark is one for the future and there's a good chance he could be playing in the Premiership.
"We all know how much players of that ability level get sold for."
