Richard Keogh has admitted he would 'love' to stay at Huddersfield.
The defender is currently on a one-month loan at the Galpharm Stadium after failing to secure regular first-team football with Bristol City.
Keogh, 21, made an impressive debut in Huddersfield's 2-1 win over Millwall on Saturday and he has now revealed that he would be keen to extend his stay with the Terriers.
"I'm not in the side at Bristol City at the moment and if that situation doesn't change then obviously I would love to stay here and hopefully continue to do a good job for the team," Keogh told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.
"As soon as I knew Huddersfield were interested I was here because I know what a quality club it is and I just want to play football games.
"The gaffer [Andy Ritchie] has been brilliant, the lads have been unbelievable in welcoming me and I hope I've shown them and the fans not only what I'm about, but that I'll always give 110 per cent for the cause.
"We got promoted at City last season and we had a great spirit. Although I've only been here a short time, I see a lot of the same qualities for promotion.
"I've got nothing to lose with my current situation, hopefully the manager, players and fans will feel I bring something to the team and I've enjoyed every moment of it so far."
