Cheltenham midfielder Scott Brown has been given the green light to step up his rehabilitation from the broken leg he suffered in January.
Brown suffered the injury against his former club Bristol City at the start of the year and had a number of screws inserted to aid the healing process.
Club physiotherapist Ian Weston has revealed that Brown's recovery is on course and he will now increase his fitness work, with a view to returning to full training with John Ward's side in six weeks' time.
Weston told the club's official website: "The X-rays came back as good as could be expected.
"The fracture has healed and it looks as if the decision to remove one of the screws eight weeks ago in order to promote the bone growth has paid off.
"The bones have come together well and the leg should be stronger than it was before.
"Scott has been given the all-clear to build up his training so now it is a case of getting him conditioned and building up his strength and general fitness.
"We are very pleased with the outcome and he should be back to full training in around six weeks."
