Cobblers expect Forest bid for Bunn

Northampton chairman David Cardoza has warned Nottingham Forest they may have to break the £1million barrier if they wish to sign star goalkeeper Mark Bunn. The 23-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation this season and former Cobblers manager Colin Calderwood tried to land him for Forest in January. Cardoza said: "I haven't heard anything from Colin yet since the end of the season but I wouldn't be surprised. "We've had about six bids from Forest before for Mark. In January they put in a good offer which was not a bad fee but it wasn't enough. "He is a terrific player and we have a certain value for him which will break the club record and we won't be budging from that. "It would be fair to say that the figure could break £1million after add-ons. We are not in the market to sell him but if the right offer comes in we'll discuss it."
