Peterborough United defender Kieran Charnock is open to a permanent move to Accrington Stanley. Charnock has been on loan at Stanley since October and has recently extended the deal until the New Year. He is on the transfer list at Peterborough and the 24-year-old admits he is keen to make the most of his opportunity in the shop window. "I'm really enjoying it," Charnock told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "More than anything, I'm just glad to be back playing football again.

Brilliant

"It's brilliant that I'm staying here until January. There's no point in me going back to Peterborough. I don't think there's much going for me there. "When January comes, I suppose I will need to speak to Peterborough. "I've come out to play games and put myself in the shop window, whether it's Accrington or another club, at least teams can come and see me play now. "I am on the transfer list, so if I could get a good move back up north then that would be the best thing for me. "I still have a year-and-a-half left on my contract with them. The last time an approach was made, they did want money for me, so I will have to see what the situation is when January comes."
