Andrew and Carole pitch up at Albion

Brighton have moved to bolster their ranks with the double acquisition of Calvin Andrew and Seb Carole. Andrew arrives at Albion on a loan deal until the end of the end of season, while free agent Carole has also committed to the rest of the campaign. Striker Andrew has been on the fringes of Crystal Palace's first team this season, with Seagulls boss Micky Adams confident he has landed a player that will improve his side's chances of beating the drop. "Calvin is a young centre forward that will complement our existing forwards by giving us an extra physical presence up front," Adams told the club's official website.
Albion return
French wide man Carole's return to the Withdean is likely to delight Brighton supporters given he established himself as a fans' favourite during his first spell at the club in the 2005/06 campaign. Carole has experienced somewhat of a nomadic experience since leaving Leeds United in the summer, with spells at Bradford City and Darlington failing to yield too much football. Albion chairman Dick Knight added: "As for Seb I am pleased he has earned a new opportunity with the Albion. It's now up to him to prove his staying power."
