Winger reluctant to pen new deal

Julian Gray is ready to spurn a contract extension at Fulham as he looks for regular first team football. The winger has grown increasingly frustrated by a lack of opportunities at Craven Cottage and is contemplating taking on a new challenge elsewhere. The 29-year-old joined the Cottagers on a season-long loan from Coventry last summer, before making that move permanent at the end of the winter transfer window. However, he is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the club and has found himself on the fringes of Roy Hodgson's plans. Fulham see him as a valuable member of their squad, and have offered him a new deal, but Gray is reluctant to prolong his stay at a club where he has struggled to make an impact. "The club want me to stay and have offered me a contract, but it's very frustrating when you're not playing games," he said. "There's not much point in signing a new deal at a club where you are not even playing."
