Walsall have snapped up Northern Ireland international Steve Jones on a two-year contract.
Jones was available on a free transfer after being released by Premier League new boys Burnley at the end of last season.
He spent spells on loan at Huddersfield Town and Bradford City last term, and had been looking to secure a new club in League One.
With his future now sorted, the forward is hoping to rediscover his best form and force his way back into Nigel Worthington's Northern Ireland squad.
"To play in League One was a big incentive for me," Jones told the club's official website. "There are some big clubs at this level and it's going to be a strong competition this year.
"The management and set-up here is first class. In fact I would go as far as to say that the training facilities are better than at any of my previous clubs and it is a good environment for me to work hard and improve my game.
"I had offers from other clubs, but once I came here and met the gaffer my mind was made up.
"I'm an ambitious person and not only do I want to help Walsall progress but I also want to get my international career back on track. I have 29 caps so far, but there is no reason why I can't reach 50."
