Carrington and Partridge sign up

Milton Keynes Dons have been busy in the transfer market on Tuesday with manager Paul Ince making two signings. Ince has finalised deals for out-of-contract duo Mark Carrington and Richie Partridge. Carrington, who has signed a two-year deal, was released by Crewe while Partridge, who played for Chester last season, has inked a one-year contract. Ince's assistant manager Karl Robinson believes both players are eager to impress in their new surroundings.

Potential

"Mark is only 22 but has fantastic potential and is someone we see as being able to take the club forward," he told the club's official website. "Richie is someone who can play in a number of attacking positions and his experience with the likes of Liverpool and Sheffield Wednesday will be a big help to some of our young players. "They are both hungry and ready to fit into the manager's approach."
