Former Spurs winger out to impress
Leyton Orient have handed a trial to former Tottenham winger Rohan Ricketts.
The 26-year-old, who made 30 Premier League appearances for the White Hart Lane club, is looking for a club back in England following a stint with Major League Soccer side Toronto FC.
Former Wolves and Barnsley man Ricketts played the full 90 minutes as Orient's young second string were beaten 4-1 by Gillingham reserves on Wednesday.
Fellow trialists, defenders Samson King and Laurence Gaughan, were also involved with Loick Pires on the scoresheet for Orient.
"We had two trialists at centre-half and it shows the squad is stretched at the moment," said assistant boss Kevin Nugent.
