Brighton defender Jim McNulty has suffered a recurrence of his ankle trouble and is facing another spell on the sidelines.
McNulty is likely to miss Saturday's game against Oldham after he was hurt in a challenge by Tranmere's Terry Gornell last weekend.
The 24-year-old had a scan on Tuesday which is expected to confirm bone bruising and minor ligament damage.
The match against Tranmere was only his third start since February after losing a kidney and suffering the same ankle injury before his intended comeback at Huddersfield in August.
