Exeter City striker John O'Flynn insists no one is getting carried away by the club's good start to the season.
The Grecians find themselves just outside the League One play-off places after a Richard Logan double fired them to a 2-1 win over Carlisle at the weekend.
However, O'Flynn, who joined on a free transfer from Barnet in the summer, believes that there is still more to come from Paul Tisdale's side.
"It has been a good start to the season for us, but we have also felt a little disappointed for not being even higher in the table," O'Flynn told
skysports.com.
"We drew two or three home games towards the start of the season where we felt we really should have won them, plus the recent trip to Walsall where we lost, but overall we are happy with how things are going.
Feet on ground
"We are keeping our feet firmly on the ground though and taking every game as it comes before looking ahead to the next one.
"Some people may be shocked with our league position at the moment considering the struggles that occurred here last season, but the gaffer did a great job over the summer strengthening the squad and getting everyone prepared for this season.
"From what I've heard about last year it was a case of not taking enough of the chances that were created and being made to pay for that by conceding a goal or two.
"The lads are creating a lot of chances again this year and it is up to the strikers, like myself, to do the business and convert them.
"The four strikers here have all been chipping in with goals, plus Ryan from midfield, so that is a big plus when you have three or four players scoring on a regular basis."
