Gabriel Zakuani has warned his Peterborough team-mates not to be distracted by the glamour of the FA Cup.
Posh have been drawn against Premier League side Fulham in the third round, but Zakuani wants his side to keep an eye on the league to ensure they are in a play-off spot before their trip to Craven Cottage in January. "We must concentrate on the league matches and forget Fulham for a while. We must make sure we are in the top six by the time we go there," he told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph. "The league is the important thing for us and we need to get the promotion bid back on track. We want to be winning games before we go to Fulham anyway because we need to go there with plenty of confidence. "We have some big games coming up and we should be looking to win most of them. We haven't done well in some games against teams at the bottom so we need to put that right."
